Location: M33, Manchester

Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Pay: £13.69 to £15.87 per hour

Start Date: ASAP

Contract: Long-term, ongoing with potential to become permanent

Reeson Education are recruiting a committed and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join an alternative provision in the M33 area of Manchester. This full-time, long-term role is ideal for a Learning Support Assistant who is passionate about supporting pupils with SEMH, ASD, ADHD, MLD, and a variety of other learning needs.

The Learning Support Assistant will work with pupils aged 11-16 in a structured and nurturing environment, helping to deliver tailored support and interventions that enable each young person to reach their full potential.

Learning Support Assistant Key Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEMH, ASD, ADHD, MLD, and other additional needs.

Work closely with teachers and SENCOs to implement individualised learning and behaviour strategies.

Support pupils to engage in lessons, social activities, and extra-curricular opportunities.

Promote confidence, independence, and positive social interactions.

Maintain accurate records of progress and report to teaching staff.

Help create a safe, structured, and stimulating learning environment.Learning Support Assistant Requirements:

Previous experience working with pupils with SEMH, ASD, ADHD, MLD, or other additional needs is highly desirable.

Patient, resilient, and proactive approach to supporting young people.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
