Learning Support Assistant - NG2

Location: NG2 (Nottingham)

Day Rate: £95-£105 per day

Contract: Fixed Term - Academic Year

Hours: Full Time, Term Time Only

Start Date: September 2025

We are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a welcoming and supportive primary school environment in the NG2 area. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference to children's learning, wellbeing and development.

The Role:

Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with varying needs

Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons

Encourage positive behaviour and active participation in learning

Support pupils' social, emotional, and academic progress

Help prepare resources, displays, and learning materials

Promote inclusion and ensure all pupils can access the curriculum

The Ideal Candidate:

Experience working with children in a school setting (EYFS, KS1, or KS2)

Understanding of SEND strategies and personalised learning approaches

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Patience, empathy, and a positive approach to supporting children

A proactive attitude with the ability to adapt to different learning environments
