Learning Support Assistant (LSA)

Join Our Team:

We are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, and compassionate Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting young people to achieve their full potential in a positive and inclusive learning environment.

The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and other professionals to provide high-quality support to pupils, helping to promote engagement, confidence, and academic progress.

Key Responsibilities:

Support pupils within the classroom, in small groups, or on a one-to-one basis.

Assist teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.

Encourage positive behaviour and foster a supportive learning environment.

Help pupils develop confidence, independence, and resilience.

Work collaboratively with teaching staff, parents, and external professionals where appropriate.

Support pupils with additional learning needs, adapting approaches to meet individual requirements.About You -

We are looking for someone who:

Has experience working within a UK primary or secondary school (essential or highly desirable).

Is confident working with children and young people, building positive and professional relationships.

Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Is patient, adaptable, and committed to helping every pupil succeed.

Can work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Demonstrates professionalism, initiative, and a positive attitude.A degree in a core subject (such as English, Mathematics, or Science) would be advantageous, although it is not essential for the right candidate.
