About the role
Every child deserves to feel supported, understood, and capable of success. At Heart of Supply, we’re looking for passionate Supply Learning Support Assistants to work in Primary and/or Secondary schools, helping students thrive both academically and personally.
Whether you’re experienced in education or looking to begin a rewarding path supporting young people, this is your chance to make a real impact, while enjoying the flexibility of supply work.
In this role, you’ll be a calm, encouraging presence in the classroom. You’ll work alongside teachers to support pupils who may need extra guidance, helping them build confidence, stay engaged in learning, and develop their independence.
About the schools
At Heart of Supply, we’re proud to work with a variety of local nurturing primary schools across Lincoln and the surrounding areas. Our partner schools are welcoming, well-resourced, and committed to creating positive spaces for both pupils and staff. Whether you’re looking to broaden your experience or find your perfect-fit setting, you’ll have the chance to step into a range of roles that suit your strengths, with our support every step of the way.
What you will need:
* Experience supporting children in a school, nursery, or education-based setting (minimum of 6 weeks' UK experience)
* A kind, confident, and calm approach, with a genuine passion for helping pupils succeed
* The ability to follow a teacher’s lead while using your initiative to support individuals and small groups
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* A flexible and proactive attitude, ready to step into different classrooms and year groups
* Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable
We’re fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults. All applicants will undergo thorough vetting, including enhanced DBS (with children’s barred list check and Update Service registration), references, and online checks as part of our compliance process.
What we offer you:
* Competitive weekly PAYE pay
* Roles tailored to your lifestyle - day-to-day or longer term
* Access to exclusive opportunities in great local schools
* A friendly, experienced consultant who listens
* Free CPD and ongoing professional development
* A simple ‘Refer a Friend’ scheme
* A warm, supportive agency that genuinely cares about you and your journey
