A welcoming, bright, and child-orientated primary school based in Slough is currently recruiting for a KS2 Classroom Assistant to promote and support classroom learning within Key Stage 2. This is an excellent opportunity for aspiring teachers to kick-start their career in education and gain valuable insight into the upper primary curriculum.

As a KS2 Classroom Assistant, you will work alongside specialist and dedicated teachers to help foster a stimulating and effective learning environment where pupils feel supported, challenged, and inspired. The role is both dynamic and rewarding-no two days are the same. You will assist with the delivery of engaging lessons, support children's academic and social development, and help to create those "light-bulb" moments of understanding and achievement.

This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate considering a career in teaching or for an experienced classroom assistant seeking a fresh challenge. While previous experience working with children is desirable, it is not essential. Relevant experience could include mentoring, coaching, tutoring, nursery or childcare work, or classroom-based support. Experience supporting children with ASD, behavioural needs, or learning difficulties would be particularly valuable for this role.
