About the Role
Supply Desk is recruiting for a passionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in Uckfield. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
Key Responsibilities
Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN
Assist with planning and delivering differentiated learning activities
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Support pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development
Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCO, parents, and external professionals
About You
Experience supporting children with SEN (school or similar setting preferred)
Patient, adaptable, and committed to supporting children’s progress
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Creative and flexible approach to learning support
Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 TA, CACHE) are an advantage but not essential
