Are you passionate about supporting young people and adults with SEND to develop greater independence, confidence and life skills?

We are looking for an Independence & Inclusion Coach to provide personalised support to learners with a range of learning difficulties and disabilities.

The Role

You will:

Provide 1:1 and small–group SEND coachingHelp learners develop independence, communication and decision–making skillsSupport learners to work towards their EHCP outcomesProvide welfare and academic supportAdvise staff on SEND and inclusive practiceSupport learner mobility, personal care and moving/handling where requiredMaintain accurate learner records and monitor progressWork closely with teaching and support teams

About You

We're looking for someone with:

Experience supporting young people and/or adults with SENDGood understanding of EHCPsStrong communication and organisational skillsA relevant SEND, education, coaching or support qualificationA genuine passion for helping learners develop independence
