Enfield, North London | Full-Time | September 2026 Start | £95-£110 per day | Term Time Only

Are you looking for a rewarding role supporting young people with additional learning needs in a secondary school setting?

Tradewind Recruitment is working with a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Enfield seeking an enthusiastic Inclusion Support Assistant to join their SEND department this September.

The successful candidate will work closely with students requiring additional support, helping them access the curriculum, build confidence and develop independence throughout the school day.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Teaching Assistants or individuals looking to build a long-term career within special educational needs.

The Role

You'll support students with a range of needs including Autism, ADHD, moderate learning difficulties, speech and language needs and social, emotional and mental health needs.

Working alongside teachers and the SENDCo, you'll deliver tailored interventions and help ensure every student receives the support they need to achieve their full potential.

Responsibilities

Provide classroom-based support across Key Stages 3 and 4

Deliver 1:1 and small group interventions

Adapt learning materials where appropriate

Encourage student independence and resilience

Monitor academic and personal progress

Support emotional wellbeing and confidence

Promote positive behaviour and engagement

Work collaboratively with teaching and pastoral teams

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

Passionate about inclusive education

Patient and empathetic

A strong communicator

Adaptable and proactive

Experienced working with children or young people

Committed to safeguarding and student welfare

Experience within schools, youth work, care or mentoring is welcomed.
