Salary: GBP25 – GBP35 per hour

Are you an experienced Home Tutor with a passion for supporting students with SEND needs?

Do you have the patience and adaptability to engage a non–verbal student with Autism / ASD?

Are you confident working collaboratively with a Teaching Assistant to deliver personalised learning?

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a local authority to recruit a Home Tutor for a student based in Stourport. This rewarding opportunity involves providing high–quality, individualised education in a home setting, helping a young person with Autism / ASD reach their full potential within a supportive and collaborative environment.

The Home Tutor role is available on a long–term basis from September. The successful Home Tutor will support a non–verbal student with Autism / ASD alongside a Teaching Assistant, delivering engaging, tailored lessons while adapting learning strategies to meet the student's individual needs and promoting confidence, communication and progress.

The successful Home Tutor will have:

• QTS, QTLS or relevant tutoring qualification

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEND, particularly Autism / ASD

• Experience planning and delivering personalised learning programmes

• Excellent communication and behaviour management skills

• A patient, adaptable and nurturing approach

• The ability to work effectively alongside a Teaching Assistant
