HLTA Havering Immediate Start
Key Responsibilities:
We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a supportive and forward–thinking primary school in Havering on a full–time, permanent basis.
The Role:
Supporting teaching and learning across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2Delivering pre–planned lessons and leading whole class sessions when requiredWorking closely with class teachers to plan and prepare engaging learning activitiesSupporting pupils with a range of abilities and learning needsPromote the inclusion and acceptance of all students within the classroom Act as a role model, setting high expectations of conduct and promoting positive pupil behaviourDeal with any immediate problems or emergencies according to the school s policies and procedures about health & safety, welfare and wellbeing and safeguardingProvide additional support to the teachers in the classroomsEstablish positive relationships with the pupils in lessons being covered
What We're Looking For:
HLTA status or equivalent experiencePrevious experience working within a primary school settingStrong classroom management skillsA genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development Patience, empathy, and adaptabilityA commitment to inclusion and the values of the school
