History Teacher

Location: Redbridge

A stimulating opportunity has arisen for a committed History Teacher to join an intellectually curious school in Redbridge. The successful candidate will bring historical events to life, encouraging students to develop a sophisticated critical understanding of past societies and their impact on the present. This role is ideal for an educator who can inspire analytical thinking and a nuanced perspective on historical narratives.

The Role

The History Teacher will:

Deliver engaging and relevant lessons across Key Stages 3–5, covering diverse historical periods and themes, including GCSE and A–Level. Cultivate students' abilities to analyse primary and secondary sources and construct reasoned historical arguments. Foster a deep understanding of historical causation, consequence, and continuity. Contribute to departmental initiatives, including historical debates and educational visits. The Ideal Candidate
