You'll lead and grow various musical ensembles and choirs, contributing significantly to the school's thriving extra–curricular music programme and performances. What we're looking for:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a specialism in Music. Proven experience teaching engaging and effective Music lessons at Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. Significant experience in a leadership or second–in–department role within a Music department. Strong musical ability, including proficiency in an instrument or voice, and a broad knowledge of musical styles. Excellent communication skills, strong team leadership abilities, and a genuine passion for inspiring musical talent and excellence. Why join this school? This Outstanding school offers a competitive salary, a generous TLR allowance for the Head of Department responsibility, and robust professional development opportunities. Become part of a vibrant and collaborative Performing Arts department in a school celebrated for its strong creative programmes and excellent facilities. Benefit from purpose–built music studios and a range of instruments and resources. Join a school that values the arts as central to a holistic education and promotes a strong sense of community in Harrow, providing a platform for significant impact.
