Description
OVERVIEW: Hairdressing Tutor
Are you an experienced Hairdressing Tutor / Assessor looking for the next step in your career? We are Recruiting on behalf of a well-established training provider that is looking to extend their team.
You will be required to provide tutoring support and complete learner assessments up to Level 3 in Hairdressing. You will be in charge of a group of learners, supporting each individual via theory and practical based teaching.
This is a part-time role, 20 hrs per week, based at a training centre in Manchester.

Salary £26K-£30K pro rata (depending on experience and qualifications)

Train, assess, motivate and support learners on programmes towards achieving hairdressing qualifications.
Support, develop, implement and evaluate approved hairdressing training materials, promoting standardisation, use approved training methods to develop the learner and utilise every opportunity to supporting them to achieving their qualification in a timely manner. xjnqpsq
Ensure the highest standards of learner completions are met and to monitor candidates progress, including carrying out regular progression reviews/additional support reviews.QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES: Hairdressing Tutor
A1 Assessor Award (TAQA, CAVA, A1, D32/33 etc.)
Teaching qualification
Functional Skills qualifications at Level 2 (desirable)
L2 and 3 Hairdressing qualifications
L2 and L3 Barbering qualifications (desirable)
A minimum 5 years' occupational experience within Hairdressing
Excellent communication skills
