This will be a full time long term Graduate Teaching Assistant position, with scope to go permanent.

Working days and hours for this Graduate Teaching Assistant post will be Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm.

Responsibilities for this Graduate Teaching Assistant role will include but not be limited to:

Supporting SEN students and lower attaining pupils in groups or whole class intervention sessionsWorking with the teachers to ensure each student's learning needs are identified Attending to students' social, emotional and personal needs when requiredSupporting behaviour management and using appropriate strategies in line with academy policyUndertaking learning activities/teaching programmes when needed The rates of pay for this Graduate Teaching Assistant position will be between GBP82.14 to GBP100 a day, depending on the qualifications and experiences of each applicant.

The School

An 'Outstanding' Secondary School & Sixth Form in the London Borough of Merton.

It is a mixed, 11 - 18, non-selective school with a wide demographic of pupils and staff.

90% of students stay in education or employment after Key Stage 4.

The site has its own dedicated SEN Support Centre and a variety of sports facilities.

Ofsted have noted there is positive culture of learning and a strong sense of community.
