Are you a Geography Teacher looking for a new opportunity in the new year?

ANZUK Education are working with our partner school based 30 minutes from Taunton to recruit a dedicated Geography Teacher for a fixed–term position from January to March, with the potential to extend.

Contract: January March (potential to extend) Location: 30 minutes from Taunton, Somerset Subject: Geography (KS3 & KS4) Open to strong non–specialists confident in delivering Geography

Requirements of a Geography Teacher:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification preferred. The school is also open to strong cover supervisors or non–specialist teachers confident in delivering Geography lessons. Applicants must hold current UK work eligibility (no sponsorship), and full compliance checks including references and police checks will be completed upon application.

The Opportunity as Geography Teacher:

The successful candidate will deliver engaging and informative Geography lessons to students across KS3 and KS4. You will join a supportive humanities department that values collaboration and high–quality teaching and learning.

Key Responsibilities as Geography Teacher:

Plan and deliver engaging Geography lessons for KS3 and KS4 students Assess and track student progress, providing clear and constructive feedback Create an inclusive and stimulating classroom environment Collaborate with colleagues to support the wider school community Planning and marking support available due to the temporary nature of the role About You as a Geography Teacher:
