Overview:

Are you a versatile and enthusiastic educator looking for a flexible teaching role? We are currently seeking General Cover Teachers and Cover Supervisors to work across schools in Teesside. This is a fantastic opportunity for qualified teachers who enjoy variety in classroom settings.

As a cover teacher, you’ll step into different classrooms, delivering pre-set lesson plans and maintaining a positive and structured learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging lessons across a range of subjects and key stages.

Follow prepared lesson plans and ensure continuity of learning in the teacher’s absence.

Manage classroom behaviour effectively to support a focused learning environment.

Encourage student participation and provide constructive feedback as needed.

Work collaboratively with school staff to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

What We’re Looking For:

Holders of Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (Desirable but not essential).

Experience in teaching or covering various subjects is highly desirable.

Strong behaviour management and communication skills.

Adaptability and confidence to work independently in different school settings.

A proactive attitude and the ability to quickly integrate into new environments.
