GCSE English & Maths Tutor - Anglesey
The Opportunity
Prospero Teaching is looking for enthusiastic GCSE English & Maths Tutors to provide personalised 1:1 tuition to secondary-aged students across Anglesey.
Working closely with learners, you'll deliver engaging sessions that strengthen subject knowledge, improve confidence and prepare students for GCSE success. Every tuition programme is tailored to the individual learner's needs.
Position Details
* Location: Anglesey
* Position: GCSE English & Maths Tutor
* Hours: 5-15 hours per week
* Start Date: September 2026
* Duration: Ongoing
Experience, Training and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
* Experience teaching GCSE English and/or Maths
* QTS, PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification (preferred)
* Strong knowledge of the current curriculum
* Excellent communication skills
To be eligible, you must:
* Hold the Right to Work in the UK
* Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered with xjnqpsq the Update Service, or be willing to obtain one
* Provide two professional child-related references
