Salary Range: GBP13.69 – GBP16 per hour

The Head Teacher is looking to take on an experienced English and Maths Functional Skills Tutor, on a Long–Term basis until the end of the academic year. The successful English and Maths Functional Skills Tutor will be supporting learners in completing their functional skills alongside their studies on a one to one and group basis. The role will be paramount in helping learners achieve excellent results, whilst following and implementing the schemes of learning.

The successful Learning Mentor will have:

– Level 3 minimum in English and Maths

– A Teaching Qualification.

– Experience in supporting young people in a diverse educational setting.

– Excellent communication and written skills

– A clear understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures.
