Prospero Teaching is recruiting an enthusiastic and dedicated MFL French Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Ashford, Surrey from September. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher to inspire students and deliver engaging French lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to teach Key Stage 5 depending on experience.

The successful candidate will be committed to delivering high–quality teaching, raising student achievement, and creating a positive and inclusive learning environment. The school offers a supportive leadership team, excellent facilities, and ongoing professional development opportunities.

The Role

Teach French across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 desirable but not essential).Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that inspire students.Assess, monitor, and support student progress.Create a positive classroom culture with high expectations for all learners.Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to the wider MFL department.

The Ideal Candidate

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.Experience teaching French within UK secondary schools.Strong subject knowledge and effective classroom management skills.A passion for languages and a commitment to helping students achieve their full potential.An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
