Job Title: Food & Nutrition Teacher

Location: Stratford upon Avon

Start Date: Immediate Start

Salary: £140 - £230 per day

Do you hold QTS and have experience teaching Food & Nutrition at GCSE level?

Do you have experience teaching students between the ages of 11 - 16+?

Are you a Science Teacher with a willingness to teach Food & Nutrition?

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a secondary school based in Stratford upon Avon, who are looking to appoint a Food & Nutrition Teacher. The school is seeking a committed teacher who can engage secondary-aged students and deliver high-quality lessons within Food & Nutrition.

The school is looking to take on a Food & Nutrition Teacher on a full-time, long-term basis to cover maternity leave until March 2027. The successful Food & Nutrition Teacher will ideally hold QTS with experience teaching Food at GCSE level, although applications are also welcomed from qualified Science Teachers who are willing and confident to teach Food & Nutrition.

The successful Food & Nutrition Teacher will have:

QTS

Experience teaching Food & Nutrition at GCSE level, or a Science teaching background with a willingness to teach Food & Nutrition

Experience teaching students across the secondary age range

Excellent classroom management

Strong communication and organisational skills

A positive and adaptable approach to teaching
