Exciting Opportunity for a HLTA in Luton!

Job Title: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

Location: Luton

Rate: £110 - £130 per day (dependent on experience)

Hours: Term time only

Are you a qualified HLTA with a Higher Level Teaching Status (HLTS) qualification? Are you looking for a fresh challenge, more flexibility, and the chance to explore a variety of school settings across Luton? This is the perfect opportunity for a confident HLTA who's ready to take more control over their career.

This role is ideal for HLTAs who want to:

* Experience both mainstream and SEN settings

* Try different schools and expand their skillset

* Work around their own schedule and take days off during term time

* Support children in diverse learning environments while building long-term career goals

Key Responsibilities:

* Cover lessons and deliver pre-planned work across KS1 and KS2

* Provide targeted support to individuals and small groups

* Adapt learning materials to suit a variety of needs and abilities

* Collaborate with teaching staff to support positive learning outcomes

* Help maintain a calm, safe, and inclusive classroom environment

Key Requirements:

* Higher Level Teaching Status (HLTS) qualification

* Experience supporting teaching and learning in Primary settings

* Confident in delivering lessons in the absence of a teacher

* A flexible and proactive approach to working in different schools

* Passionate about supporting children's education and development
