Horizon Teachers is partnering with a welcoming Primary School based in Enfield who are looking to appoint a dedicated Facilities Manager to join their team as soon as possible.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced site or premises professional to play a key role in ensuring that the school is safe, well–maintained, and running smoothly every day.

You will be working within multiple sites across North London, so previous experience within a similar role would be essential. The School offers flexible shift patterns, from 7am–3pm, 8am–4pm or 9am–5pm.

The Role

As the Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for the effective management, maintenance, and development of the school site. Your duties will include:

Overseeing day–to–day site operations and ensuring the school environment is safe, secure, and cleanManaging planned and reactive maintenance, including liaising with contractors and external servicesCarrying out routine health & safety checks, risk assessments, and ensuring compliance across the siteSupervising and supporting site staff, cleaners, and contractorsSupporting school events and ensuring the premises is prepared for daily activities

The School Are Looking For

Prior experience as a Facilities Manager, Site Manager, Premises Officer, or similarStrong understanding of health & safety regulations, safeguarding, and statutory compliancePractical maintenance skills and the ability to carry out repairs where neededExcellent communication and organisational abilitiesA proactive, reliable, and committed individual with a positive attitude
