EYFS Level 3 Teaching Assistant – Permanent, Full–Time

Location: Waltham Forest, East London

Salary: 1,800 – 2,300 per month

Start Date: Immediate / September

Contract: Permanent Full–time

A welcoming and supportive primary school in Waltham forest is looking to appoint a qualified EYFS Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years team on a permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Early Years professional who holds a Level 3 qualification and is passionate about supporting children's early development.

This welcoming and inclusive primary school is committed to providing a positive and engaging Early Years environment where children are encouraged to explore, learn, and develop. With a strong focus on teamwork, creativity, and child–centred learning, the school provides staff with the support and resources needed to make a real difference in children's early education.

Key Responsibilities

Support teaching and learning within the EYFS classroomAssist with planning and delivering engaging play–based activitiesSupport children's personal, social, and emotional developmentWork with children on a 1:1 basis and in small groupsComplete observations and contribute to children's learning journeysSupport classroom organisation and preparation of learning resourcesEncourage positive behaviour and independence

Requirements

Essential:

Level 3 Early Years qualification (CACHE, NVQ, or equivalent)GCSE English & Maths (Grade C/4 or above)Experience working within an Early Years or school settingStrong understanding of the EYFS frameworkExcellent communication and teamwork skillsA caring, patient, and enthusiastic approachA genuine passion for supporting children's learning and developmentDesirable:

Previous experience working within EYFSExperience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)Knowledge of observations, assessments, and learning journeysPaediatric First Aid qualificationExperience working as an Early Years Practitioner or Nursery Nurse
