Prospero Teaching is seeking passionate and dedicated English Teachers to work across a range of well–supported secondary schools in Enfield and the surrounding areas. We welcome applications from both Newly Qualified Teachers (ECTs) and experienced educators.

CONTRACT DETAILS

Location: Enfield & surrounding North London areas

Position: English Teacher

Type of Work: Teaching English across KS3 & KS4

Start Date: ASAP or January 2026

Duration: Until the end of the academic year

Contract Type: Long–term / Temp to Perm opportunities

Hours: Full–time, 8:00am 4:00pm (plus parents evenings where required)

Salary – Paid to Scale

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

QTS or equivalent

At least 1 year of UK teaching experience (ECTs also considered)

Up–to–date Safeguarding training (issued within the last year)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold the Right to Work in the UK

Hold an enhanced child–barred list DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one

Provide two professional child–related references covering the last 2 years
