Are you an English Teacher who can help students strengthen their reading, writing and communication skills? Reeson Education is recruiting an English Teacher for a college opportunity in Gosport, Hampshire.

This temporary, ongoing opportunity would suit an English Teacher who explains ideas clearly, adapts lessons to different starting points and helps students build confidence in the subject.

The Role:

Position: English Teacher

Pay: £140-£220 per day, depending on experience and assignment

Location: Gosport, Hampshire

Setting: Further education college

Start date: ASAP

As an English Teacher, you'll deliver engaging lessons, assess students' work and provide feedback that helps them progress.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and teach English lessons in line with the college's programme.

Adapt teaching to support students with different needs and attainment levels.

Monitor progress and provide clear, constructive feedback.

Maintain a positive learning environment and work with colleagues to support students.

What We're Looking For in an English Teacher:

A relevant teaching qualification, such as QTS, QTLS, PGCE or an appropriate FE teaching qualification.

Experience teaching English to secondary or post-16 learners.

GCSE English or Functional Skills English teaching experience would be beneficial.

Strong subject knowledge, organisation and safeguarding awareness.
