Monarch Education are currently supporting a welcoming secondary school in Kingstanding who are seeking to appoint a motivated and passionate English Teacher for a full-time position starting in September.

The successful candidate will deliver engaging and high-quality English Language and Literature lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping students develop strong reading, writing and analytical skills while fostering confidence and a genuine appreciation for the subject.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver English Language and Literature lessons across KS3 and KS4

Plan and deliver engaging lessons that challenge and inspire learners

Support students in developing reading, writing and communication skills

Prepare pupils for assessments and GCSE examinations

Differentiate learning to meet the needs of students of varying abilities

Track progress and provide constructive feedback to support attainment

Maintain high standards of classroom behaviour and learning

Contribute to departmental planning and curriculum development

Create an inclusive and positive learning environment

Work collaboratively with colleagues to drive student outcomes

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Experience teaching English xjnqpsq within a secondary school setting

Strong knowledge of the KS3 and KS4 English curriculum

Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills

Strong communication and organisational abilities

A proactive, professional and reliable approach
