Early Years SEN Teaching Assistant - Houghton Regis | September Start

Tradewind Recruitment is working with a welcoming primary school in Houghton Regis looking to appoint a caring and enthusiastic Early Years SEN Teaching Assistant from September.

This is a fantastic opportunity to support children at the very start of their educational journey, helping them build confidence, communication skills and a love of learning in a nurturing Early Years setting.

The role:

Supporting children in Nursery and Reception with Special Educational Needs

Delivering one-to-one and small group interventions

Encouraging speech, language, social and emotional development through play-based learning

Working closely with the class teacher, SENCO and outside professionals

Creating a safe, positive and engaging environment where every child can thriveWe're looking for someone who:

Has experience working with children in an Early Years or SEN setting (school, nursery or childcare)

Is patient, calm and genuinely passionate about supporting children with additional needs

Can build strong relationships with pupils, staff and parents

Is proactive, reliable and happy to get involved in all aspects of school life

Holds an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or is happy to obtain oneIn return, Tradewind offers:
