A welcoming and well-established mainstream primary school in Balham is seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join their nursery team on a full-time, long-term basis.

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Early Years professional who is committed to providing outstanding care and education for young children in a nurturing and engaging learning environment. The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher to support children's development through play-based learning, helping to create a positive and stimulating classroom where every child can thrive.

The Role

Full-time position (Monday to Friday)

Term time only

Working hours: 8:30am - 4:00pm

Long-term opportunity with the potential to become permanent

Based within a supportive and inclusive mainstream primary school in Balham

Immediate or September start available

The Ideal Candidate

The school is looking for someone who:

Has previous experience working within an Early Years setting

Holds a relevant Early Years qualification (Level 2 or Level 3 desirable)

Has a strong understanding of the EYFS Framework

Is caring, patient and enthusiastic about supporting children's learning and development

Builds positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues

Is reliable, proactive and enjoys working as part of a collaborative team
