Veritas Education is currently recruiting enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisors to work in a range of secondary schools across Burnley and the surrounding areas.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising classes in the absence of the teacher, ensuring students remain on task and engaged with the work that has been set. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, experienced teaching assistants, youth workers, sports coaches, or anyone with experience working with young people.

The Role:

Deliver pre–planned lessons across a variety of subjectsManage classroom behaviour effectivelySupport students in completing set workMaintain a positive and productive learning environmentWork on a flexible day–to–day, short–term, or long–term basis

We Are Looking For:

Confident and professional individualsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsExperience working with young people is desirableStrong classroom management abilitiesEnhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
