TeacherActive is proud to be working with a highly regarded Secondary School in Caerphilly that is looking to appoint a Sports Cover Supervisor. The school is a popular and inclusive 11-18 setting that welcomes students of all abilities and backgrounds, promoting strong values of respect, reliability, self-discipline and pride through its ethos of "Aspire and Achieve" and its commitment to ensuring every student reaches their full potential.

The school is looking to take on a motivated Sports Cover Supervisor for both day-to-day and long-term opportunities with an immediate start available. The successful Sports Cover Supervisor will deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects, support positive behaviour management and use their sporting background to build strong relationships with students across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4.

The successful Sports Cover Supervisor will have:

• Experience working with children or young people in an educational, coaching or sporting environment

• A passion for sport and promoting positive engagement with learning

• Strong behaviour management and classroom management skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• The ability to confidently lead classes using pre-prepared work

• A proactive, reliable and adaptable approach
