Experienced Cover Supervisor – School Setting

We are currently seeking an experienced Cover Supervisor to work across secondary school settings, supporting pupils by delivering pre-planned lessons in the absence of teaching staff.

This is a flexible opportunity, suitable for candidates looking for day-to-day supply, as well as those open to short-term or long-term placements.

The Role:

* Delivering pre-prepared lesson plans across a range of subjects

* Maintaining a positive, well-managed classroom environment

* Managing pupil behaviour effectively in line with school policies

* Ensuring students remain on task and engaged in learning

* Providing feedback to teaching staff and senior leaders as required

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

* Previous experience working as a Cover Supervisor or in a similar school-based role

* Strong behaviour management and classroom control skills

* Confidence leading a class independently

* A calm, professional and adaptable approach

* Excellent communication skills

Requirements:

* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (preferred)

* EWC registration (preferred)

* Candidates without a DBS on the Update xjnqpsq Service and/or EWC registration must be willing to obtain these through us
