Description:

We're looking for an energetic and adaptable Cover Supervisor to join a supportive secondary school team in Kington. This role is ideal for someone with an interest in education, or for those seeking to build experience in a school environment.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising students in the absence of their usual teacher, ensuring they remain on task and focused on their work. You will have the chance to make a real difference in students' daily learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise students during lessons when the class teacher is absent

Ensure that students follow the work provided by the teacher

Manage classroom behavior and address any issues promptly

Support students with their learning and provide guidance as needed

Requirements:

Previous experience working with young people is desirable

Excellent communication and classroom management skills

A professional and positive approach to supporting students
