Salary: £110 – £120 per day

We are proud to be working with a number of fantastic Secondary Schools across Tunbridge Wells, and we are actively recruiting for Cover Supervisors to support them with quality and consistent staff. Cover Supervisors play a vital role in schools – keeping lessons on track and ensuring students remain engaged in their learning. This is a brilliant opportunity to gain classroom experience, develop new skills, and make a real difference.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Deliver pre-prepared lessons in the absence of the classroom teacher

Manage behaviour and ensure students remain focused and engaged

Support students in their learning and encourage participation

Provide feedback to teaching staff where necessary

Work flexibly across different subjects and year groups (KS3 & KS4)

Create a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment

The successful Cover Supervisor will have:

CACHE Level 2/3 or at least 6 months classroom-based experience

Confidence in managing a classroom of students aged 11–16

Strong communication skills with the ability to engage young learners

Flexibility to work across departments and adapt to different school settings
