We are looking for a passionate, reliable, and professional Cover Supervisor to join our team and help maintain an outstanding educational environment for students across various subjects.

The Role: As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing classes in the absence of the regular teacher. You will support students with their learning, ensuring they remain engaged, on-task, and follow the class's set activities. You will play a crucial role in maintaining a positive classroom environment and supporting the school's daily operations whilst abiding by the schools behaviour policy and directly reporting to the SLT staff.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and manage student learning in the absence of a class teacher

Follow lesson plans and provide support to students to ensure they stay engaged

Maintain a positive and orderly classroom environment

Ensure students follow the school's rules and behave appropriately

Provide support to students with additional learning needs when necessary

Report any concerns or issues to the relevant teaching staff or school leadership teamIdeal Candidate:

Experience working with children or young people (essential)

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively

A proactive and flexible approach to work

A passion for education and supporting student learning

A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
