Role: Cover Supervisor

Location: Bishops Stortford

Pay Rate: £100 – £200 per day

Start Date: September 2025

Take Charge of the Classroom as a Cover Supervisor.

Are you confident, organised, and ready to lead a class? GSL Education is looking for Cover Supervisors to step into school classrooms across Bishops Stortford. This is a great opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, or education professionals looking to gain school-based experience.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Supervise classes in the absence of the teacher

• Ensure students remain on task and engaged

• Follow the provided lesson plans and report back to teaching staff

• Manage behaviour in line with school policies

• Support a positive and respectful classroom culture

We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience working with young people in an educational setting

• Strong classroom presence and communication skills

• Ability to stay calm and assertive under pressure

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply through GSL Education)
