Job Advert: Temporary Courier - Part Time

Location: Lancaster, Ambleside, Carlisle

Contract Type: Temporary

Working Pattern: Part Time

Are you an energetic individual looking for a part-time opportunity? We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Courier to join our team on a temporary basis. If you enjoy being on the move and have a knack for organisation, this role could be perfect for you!

Key Responsibilities:

Transport boxes of books, filing cabinets, and other furniture between Lancaster, Ambleside, and Carlisle.

Ensure safe handling and secure transport of items to prevent damage.

Perform heavy lifting and loading/unloading of items as necessary.

Maintain a punctual schedule while meeting delivery timelines.

Communicate effectively with team members and clients to coordinate logistics.

Working Hours:

Thursdays and Fridays from 8:15 AM to 4:15 PM.

Requirements:

Must have a valid clean driver's licence and reliable transportation.

Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks throughout the day.

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Excellent time management skills.

Prior experience in a courier or delivery role is a plus but not mandatory.
