Tradewind is currently recruiting a Midday Supervisor to provide lunchtime support in Runcorn Primary Schools.

A Midday Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the safety, welfare and supervision of students during the lunchtime period. As a Midday Assistant, you will ensure that lunchtimes are an enjoyable and safe experience for all children, so that they are physically and mentally prepared to learn during the afternoon.

Key duties and responsibilities of a Midday Assistant:

Supervise groups of children in the dining hall and other parts of the school during the lunch periodOrganise the dining area and playground space appropriatelyAssist in the dining area and encourage good eating practices, assist with cutting up food, pouring liquids etc where necessaryPay particular attention to those with special needs or disabilitiesDeal promptly with minor incidents e.g. cleaning up food spillagesPromote the school behaviour policy and adhere to safeguarding protocolsThe working hours of a Midday Assistant are between 1–2 hours per day over the lunchtime period and you will be paid up to 14 per hour. In order to work for Tradewind as a Midday Assistant, you will need prior experience of working with children/young adults.

Essential requirements:
