Computing Teacher

Start: ASAP - July

Hours: Full-time

Pay: £150.00 - £220.00 per day (dependent on experience)

Premier Education are recruiting for a qualified Computing Teacher to work in a busy secondary school in the Manchester area. This is a full-time, temporary position starting as soon as possible and continuing until the end of the academic year (July).

This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive and forward-thinking department, delivering engaging Computing lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.

The Role:

You will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality Computing lessons, ensuring students are engaged and making progress. You will work closely with the department and wider school staff to maintain high standards of teaching and learning.

Daily responsibilities will include:

Planning and delivering engaging Computing lessons

Assessing, monitoring and reporting on student progress

Managing classroom behaviour effectively

Supporting students of varying abilities

Contributing to departmental planning and resources

Upholding school policies and procedures

The ideal candidate will have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential

Experience teaching Computing in a secondary school setting

Strong subject knowledge across the Computing curriculum

Excellent classroom management skills

The ability to inspire and motivate students

Strong communication and organisational skills

A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
