Computer Science Teacher – Hounslow, London

(Long–term role – January 2026 start)

A large and inclusive secondary school in Hounslow is seeking a dedicated Computer Science Teacher to join their team on a long–term basis from January 2026. This is a full–time position, though the school is open to considering part–time applicants. Working hours are 8:30am to 3:30pm, and on–site parking is available. Salary will be in line with the (Inner/Outer) London MPS/UPS pay scale.

Deliver high–quality, engaging Computer Science lessons across KS3–KS4 (and KS5 if applicable), fostering students' digital literacy and problem–solving skills.

Plan and implement creative lessons that integrate coding, computational thinking, and real–world technology applications.

Inspire students to develop curiosity and confidence in technology, preparing them for further study or future careers in computing.

Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports progress, innovation, and independent learning.

Work collaboratively with a supportive team dedicated to continual improvement and high academic standards.

Qualifications and Person Specification:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

Degree in Computer Science or a related subject

Strong subject knowledge and ability to teach up to GCSE (A–Level desirable)

Excellent communication and classroom management skills

Enthusiastic, innovative, and committed to student success
