Description

A friendly, well‑organised school in Turves Green is looking for a reliable, hard‑working Cleaner to join their site team. This role suits someone who takes pride in keeping environments clean, safe, and welcoming for pupils and staff.

Key Responsibilities

* Cleaning classrooms, corridors, toilets, and communal areas

* Vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and wiping down surfaces

* Emptying bins and managing waste safely

* Replenishing hygiene and cleaning supplies

* Ensuring cleaning equipment is used and stored correctly

* Reporting any maintenance or safety issues to the Site Manager

* Working independently and as part of a supportive cleaning team

‍ What the School Needs

* Previous cleaning experience (school or commercial preferred)

* Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards

* Reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude

* Ability to follow cleaning schedules and work efficiently

* Basic understanding of health & safety and COSHH (training can be provided)

* Enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain one
