Job Title: School Caretaker
Contract: Full–time / Term time only
Start Date: September Start
Are you a dependable and hardworking individual who takes pride in maintaining a safe, clean and welcoming school environment? We are looking for a School Caretaker to join our team and ensure the smooth running of our facilities, supporting staff, students and visitors every day.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain the cleanliness, safety and security of the school premisesCarry out routine maintenance and basic repairs as neededOpen and close the school, managing building access and security systemsMonitor and report health and safety concerns promptlySupport contractors and manage deliveries and site visitorsEnsure playgrounds, grounds and outdoor areas are safe and tidyRespond quickly to urgent maintenance issues or emergenciesWhat We're Looking For:
Previous experience in caretaking or maintenance, preferably in a school or similar environmentPractical skills and ability to carry out basic repairs and upkeepReliable, punctual and able to work independentlyGood communication skills and a friendly, approachable mannerFlexibility to cover out–of–hours duties as requiredA commitment to supporting a safe and positive school environmentWhat We Offer:
