Behaviour Mentor Leicester LE65 GBP125 - GBP130 per day Start date ASAP Contract: Full-time, long-term (Full Academic Year)

Long Term Futures are seeking a confident and resilient Behaviour Mentor to provide 1:1 and small group support within a specialist SEN secondary school for learners aged 11-16. Students are working towards GCSE qualifications and have Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), with needs including Autism (ASC), ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) challenges.

This long-term, temp-to-perm opportunity is ideal for someone passionate about supporting young people to engage with learning, achieve their GCSE potential, and build the skills needed for further education and future pathways. The role would suit individuals looking to develop a career in education, pastoral care, educational psychology, or therapeutic support.

About the Role

Provide 1:1 and small-group behaviour and pastoral supportSupport students with emotional regulation, behaviour and engagementWork closely with pastoral leads, SEN staff and teaching teamsSupport pupils during lessons, interventions and unstructured timesPromote positive behaviour, resilience and inclusion across the schoolFoster positive, trusting relationships with pupilsImplement tailored strategies to manage and de-escalate behaviourIdeal Candidate Profile
