Behaviour Mentor – Wandsworth Secondary School (Immediate Start)

Full Time Long Term 100– 120 per day 8:00am – 5:00pm Exclusive to TimePlan Education

TimePlan Education is exclusively recruiting on behalf of a highly regarded secondary school in Barking & Dagenham seeking to appoint a dedicated and compassionate Behaviour Mentor to join their team immediately on a long–term, full–time basis.

This exciting opportunity is based within the school's Inclusion Unit – a purpose–built, multi–functional facility designed to provide targeted support for students who may require additional educational or emotional assistance.

You will be joining a highly experienced and supportive team of nine Behaviour Mentors and Assistant Behaviour Mentors whose mission is to help students overcome barriers to learning, develop confidence, and build the skills and self–belief needed for long–term success.

The Role:

Providing behavioural, emotional, and academic support to studentsWorking collaboratively with staff to implement behaviour and support plansActing as a positive role model and trusted adult for studentsSupporting students to develop emotional resilience and positive behaviour strategiesMaintaining a calm, structured, and nurturing environmentThe Ideal Candidate:

Previous experience supporting young people in a school or alternative provision settingEmpathetic, patient, and resilient with a genuine passion for helping young people thriveExcellent communication and relationship–building skillsA proactive and team–oriented attitudeIf you are passionate about supporting young people and helping them develop positive behaviour and coping strategies, we would love to hear from you.
