ADHD Teaching Assistant Secondary School ASAP East London

An exceptional Secondary School in Newham, East London are searching for an ADHD Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with a child in Year 8 with ADHD(On the mild side of the spectrum). As an ADHD Teaching Assistant you will be supporting a year 8 child who has moderate ADHD, meaning he is capable at functioning at a high level but he does need additional support with behaviour and concentration.

Experience working with students with behavioural challenges, preferably in an educational or special education setting.Knowledge of behaviour management techniques, positive reinforcement strategies, and de–escalation methods.Ability to establish rapport and build positive relationships with students, demonstrating patience, empathy, and understanding.Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals.Excellent problem–solving skills and the ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations.Requirement:
