Key Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 support to a non–verbal pupil in Year 2 with ASD.
Implement communication strategies to support the pupil's engagement and learning.
Collaborate with the SENCO and class teacher to create an inclusive classroom atmosphere.
Foster positive relationships with the pupil, parents, and colleagues.
Requirements:
Proactive and compassionate approach to supporting children with special needs.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt teaching methods to individual needs.
Commitment to a full–time role, Monday to Friday, for the remainder of the academic year.
