Year 5 1:1 SEN Learning Buddy Vacancy in Havant!
We're looking for a kind and enthusiastic person to support a Year 5 pupil with special educational needs at our client primary school in Havant.
Whether you have experience working with children who need extra support or just love helping others, we want to hear from you!
What You'll Do Each Day:
Work closely with the teacher to help a Year 5 pupil throughout their school day.Help the pupil feel confident and safe.Support them to make friends and learn good behaviour skills.Be there for one-on-one support to help the pupil with their learning and social skills. Who We're Looking For:
Someone patient, caring, and a good team player.You need to have GCSEs or equivalent in English and Maths (grade C or level 4).Experience is helpful but not necessary - if you're new, we'll support you.Someone who stays calm and positive when supporting children with different needs. Important Details:
Working hours: 8:30 am to 3:30 pm Monday to FridayTerm-time only (39 weeks per year)Starting pay: GBP13.96 per hourLocation: Havant primary schoolOngoing position (not fixed term) What You Need to Join:
