SYNTHSTROM DELUGE (LED model)

Simply put, the greatest GROOVEBOX that's ever been created.

It's a synth, sampler, DAW in a box. It feels amazing and is intuitive to use.

The software has been constantly updated to bring many incredible features to the device, such as Wavetable synthesis, an amazing arranger (song) mode (it's like using a DAW on a computer) and much much more.

Just look at videos of it on Youtube and google more info to see what I mean.

I've used MPCs, Yamaha, Korg, and Roland Grooveboxes over the years and they all pale in comparison to the Deluge.

DETAILS :

This Deluge is the original LED model, which many prefer - as part of the JOY of making music on the Deluge is not having to read a screen all the time.. though there is now an option to send it to Synthstrom in the UK to have a small OLED screen fitted.

Latest official 4.1.4 firmware.. which adds hundreds of new features.

The latest, official, printed manual (that cost me £30) which is updated to explain all the new features (very useful)!

Condition :

The condition is good and it's in great working order. There are cosmetic scuffs here and there from use.. and some of the printed wording on the original front panel has worn away (see photos) but this does not affect use at all.

The headphone jack can be slightly temperamental if you move the headphones cable around a lot (slight audio crackles), but if you're sitting still / at a desk, this won't be an issue. It does this with my Sennheiser headphones, but not my Beyerdynamic ones.. I guess it depends on the connector of the headphones you use.


This is a very reluctant sale.. in fact, I may change my mind and remove the listing. I just feel as though I am more productive creating my songs on a laptop - but you cannot beat the Deluge for sitting on the sofa or in the garden, sketching out new song ideas.
