My Korg X3 Workstation Vintage 90s Synth 61 Note

CONDITION: USED WAS LIKE NEW UNTIL FLOPPY DRIVE FAULT DISCOVERED. Cosmetically very good. For its age it’s in Excellent Cosmetic Condition. Please read full description.

UPDATE: When I first listed this I thought everything was as new but then discovered the internal battery was low. I changed the battery and in doing so the setting changes are now holding as they should, BUT the installed sounds were lost leaving only some very basic sounds. When attempting to reload the sounds from the original floppy discs, the internal drive belt failed due to its age. I ordered a new belt and replaced it however for some reason it won't hold in place on the belt drive wheel and I can therefore not reload the sounds. Someone with time, knowledge and patience could retrieve the sounds and replace the floppy drive with an emulator and then install them that way, but I simply don't have time.

Now Selling much cheaper for use as a Midi Controller Keyboard.

Reason for sale, I only use my Nord these days, so it's reluctantly time to make some space and let someone else appreciate it :(

Owned Since new, may even have original receipt. Purchased in early 90's from Eddie Moors Music in Boscombe Bournemouth.
Purchased as a second synth for my studio with only occasional use outside of the studio.
Rarely used and has been stored for some time.

Original style Midi connections.
Makes an excellent Midi Controller keyboard so could be good for both its Vintage 90s sounds (IF YOU CAN REPAIR AS MENTIONED ABOVE) and used with a laptop for the best of both worlds.

There is a floppy disc drive converter kit that I'm aware of. Not sure if it's still available but worth a look. I think it's called an N Drive Emulator.

Excellent Cosmetic condition (apart from one small scratch/mark on the top right below the logo as shown in the photo as I dropped something on the top of the synth in the studio, cosmetic only).
