We are a structural engineering design and survey consultancy based in Leeds. Most of our work is completed in Yorkshire although we also provide our services nationwide.

We work with Architects, Building Contractors, Property Developers and Renewable Energy companies to provide effective and sustainable structural design and survey solutions for our Clients.

We cover structural design for extensions, new-builds and refurbishment projects ranging from £1000’s domestic alterations to £1m HMO conversions. Our appraisal surveys cover inspections to facilitate property purchases and general structural condition surveys on buildings of all ages and construction including traditional and non-traditional building forms.

Most of our work comes through repeat Clients and recommendations. We believe this demonstrates our ability to provide an efficient and reliable service at great value.

Graeme at Bell Structural Engineering Ltd has gone way above and beyond to help us with an issue that has been going around in circles for years (almost a decade). His professionalism and genuine desire to not only help us but to get to the actual root of the issue (quite literally) has lifted a huge weight from our shoulders. Needed 3 party walls underpinning due to damage from the previous owner and needed floor installed to stop damp. Never undertook a building project before and needed a Structual engineer. I needed to do the job right so the council could officially sign it off (which they have done). I had options to go with bigger companies but went with Graeme not because of the fee but because he is very easy to communicate with (which is so important when undertaking a project like this). He’s very knowledgable, his drawings are excellent and were delivered on time. The service was top class and would highly recommend him.

Graeme was very knowledgeable and competent in his report. His report was comprehensive and detailed. Also unlike a lot of other structural engineers, his report was more problem solving rather than problem reporting. Highly recommended.

Bell Structural did a survey of my house in order to determine if I could change the layout of my ground floor prior renovating my house. Graeme was fast in coming back to me and extremely professional answering my numerous emails and phone calls straight away.
