Lewisham, London
1 / 6
Description
Beautifully crafted mid-century modern Danish teak stool dating from 60s / 70s.
Sculpted curved frame and elegant tapered legs
The solid teak frame is in good overall vintage condition. It remains structurally rock-solid, sturdy, and free from any loose joints or major damage. The wood retains a beautiful, warm honey-golden vintage patina and grain.
The seat itself is traditionally hand-woven through individual holes in the frame.
There are small sections of the rattan that need repairing or replacing, which is very typical for its age.
